State Tourism Boards go all out to woo domestic tourists through various campaigns

There is intense competition among tourism boards from across the country to woo domestic travellers with an increasing number of people opting for destinations within the country. The boards have launched marketing promotions across social media, television and print. Several tourism boards, including those of Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Leh & Ladakh and Uttarakhand, are leaving no stone unturned to attract travellers and revive the tourism economy. ‘Bharat Parv 2021’ launched on Republic Day to promote domestic tourism

Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birlaon Tuesday, inaugurated the ‘Bharat Parv 2021’, a virtual national festival showcasing the country’s diverse culture, cuisines, and handicrafts. Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission to promote micro unheard destinations

“Making better places for people to visit and better places for people to live in” has been the slogan of Kerala’s Responsible Tourism (RT) mission since its inception. CKTI asks Kerala Government to change the quarantine norms for Tourism Revival

Prominent Tourism Trade body of Kerala, Confederation of Kerala Tourism Industry (CKTI) has requested the state government to allow free entry for domestic tourists to the state without mandatory quarantine rules upon arrival. CKTI  in a letter to the Chief Secretary of Kerala has complained that the current guidelines for visitors, which specifies mandatory quarantine for visitors, is not at all helping the revival process of tourism in the state, mainly the domestic market.
