Shores with beautiful views; Alappuzha – Kollam boat trip for Rs 400

Let’s take a boat trip to see the beautiful coastline from Alappuzha to Kollam. Everyone remembers the houseboats in Alappuzha when they hear of boat rides. The excitement of going on a trip can be overwhelming for many when they think about the price of houseboats.

However, not many people know about the daily boat services of the Government of Kerala from Alappuzha to Kollam and back. Starting from Alappuzha and Kollam at 10.30 am every day, one can take a boat ride through the Ashtamudi, Kayamkulam, and Vembanad backwaters.

The service is operated by double-decker boats with 75 seats. The boat will leave Alappuzha in the morning and reach Kollam in the evening and reach Alappuzha the next day. The fare from Alappuzha to Kollam is Rs 400 per person.
