Visitors of Komlighat in Arunachal can now enjoy boating in Siang river

 

Kaling Moyong , West MLA of Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, has launched boating in the majestic Siang river for tourists and visitors at Komlighat as part of the tourism promotional activities  in Siang region,

The tourist season begins with the beginning of winter in Siang Valley and Arunachal Pradesh in general.  With the new boat service, the organizers aim at providing more attractions at the valley during the tourism season.

“Nature has bestowed the Valley with scenic beauty and splendour. The tourists and visitors visiting the Valley also look forward to various outdoor experiences like boating and rafting etc. in Siang Valley,” Moyong said, while addressing the gathering.

He invited the local people,  particularly the youth to take up and explore avenues in tourism sector, while adding that tourism activities need to be taken up to provide various experiences for tourists and visitors, which will help create employment opportunities and also generate revenue.

“The State government has been giving special focus to the promotion of tourism sector in the state with various initiatives. I request the youth to avail the schemes and provisions of the State and the central governments in the tourism sector,” added the MLA

The venture named ‘JJ Boating’ service has been initiated by Nong Jamoh. This will be kept operational from 10 in the morning till 4 pm, as stated in an official circular.
