Tripura Tourism to have a new logo

Biplab Kumar Deb, Chief Minister of Tripura has launched a new logo for the Tripura Tourism Development Corporation on Tuesday, 25th September 2018.

The logo was designed by a final-year computer science engineering student – Debaditya Bhowmik- at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala.

The logo contain the historical and cultural places and icons of Tripura like images of a spectacled monkey, famous historical tourist spots Unakoti, Tripura Sundari temple, the queen pineapple and the image of an indigenous woman.

“Tripura has a large number of tourist treasures. Mata Tripura Sundari temple is one of the biggest treasures. It is one among the most famous religious places of the world like Gaya, Kashi, Brindavan, Kamakhya temple, Tirupati Balaji temple and others,” said the Chief Minister.

“The government is planning for Rs 75 crore renovation works for the Tripura Sundari temple,” said the minister.

“Our government is working to develop different sectors of the state, including agriculture, industry, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries and tourism,” he added.
