Travel and Tourism Fair kick starts in Hyderabad

A two-day Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) featuring domestic and outbound destinations began at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on Friday, 13th July 2018

The first day of the show was reserved only for travel trade while the second day is open for all, including general public. The two-day travel trade show brings together state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel agents, online travel companies, railways and cruise lines under one roof.

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are the host States of the TTF, while Goa, Gujarat and Karnataka are participating as the partner States. Around 11 states including Kerala and two union territories, are participating in TTF Hyderabad.

More than 180 exhibitors from 12 countries and 19 States are participating in TTF. Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau is participating with a large group of delegates as the partner country, while Bahrain is the feature country. China, Dubai, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Russia, Switzerland and Thailand are the other countries represented in TTF Hyderabad.

Indian tourists take some 22 million international and more than a billion trips within India. India is also one of the fastest growing markets in the world for Business and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events) related travel. 40 per cent of India’s outbound market is from South India consisting of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
