Grand Hyatt, the new face of MICE in Kerala

The American multinational Hotel operators Hyatt is all about to open the Grand Hyatt Kochi at the picturesque Bolgatty Island in Ernakulam.

The property, worth over ₹1,800 crore, is spread across 26 acres. The 1,30,000sq ft Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Centre nearby is expected to take Kochi to next level by capitalizing the MICE tourism potential of Kerala.

The hotel made with a fusion of Arabic, Dutch and Portuguese architecture is aimed to focus international travellers on a huge extent. The convention center, capable of hosting 6,000 people at a time, is among the biggest in the country. The hotel will be managed by world-renowned Hyatt Hotels group under their luxury brand Grand Hyatt.

The hotel has a dedicated lake facing terrace, presidential suites, a tennis court, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. The project is yet another major investment by the LuLu Group International in the city after LuLu Mall, Kochi Marriott Hotel, Lulu Flight Kitchen, Emmay Logistics Park, Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport and Lulu Cyber Park, Cochin.
