Apple launched cheap i Pad for students

Apple on a vision to spread the technology among students launched their latest I pad (9.7). The new updated 9.7-inch unibody enclosure is packed with educational softwares, particularly aimed at school students and teachers.

Apple’s new launch was held as a special event at a public school in Chicago. “The new 9.7 inch iPad takes everything people love about our most popular iPad and make it even better,” said Greg Joswiak, an Apple marketing executive.

The device is powered by an A10 fusion chip on a 64-bit architecture. Apple also states that the new chip has better speed in terms of performance as well as graphics.

The main attracting point of the new device is its 9.7 inch retina display. Storage comes with two new variants and offers a 32 GB and 128 GB respectively. The camera comes with an 8 MP rear at an aperture of about f/2.4. It also houses a touch ID fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, Apple calls the new device as the “our most affordable iPad.” The device is priced at Rs 19,436 for schools and Rs 21,386 for other consumers.
