Hyderabad airport installs napkin vending machines

After the successful launch of sanitary napkin vending machines in Mumbai- Delhi Rajdhani express, GMR airport in Hyderabad too had followed the path, as part of celebrating the international women’s day.

According to airport authorities, the programme aims to ensure comfort and encourage hygienic practices among women passengers. Around 26 washrooms across various categories of domestic and international areas of the airport have installed with the new vending machine.

Meanwhile, new incinerator facility for the safe disposal of the napkins is installed, with the strong assistance from airport housekeeping team. The vending machine dispenses napkins for a sum for Rs5.
