Kerala promotes Ayurveda at ITB Berlin

The Tourism department of Kerala is promoting the benefits of Ayurveda at ITB Berlin. The aim is to bring more tourists to experience the benefits of Ayurveda, said Kerala Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran in an exclusive interview to Tourism News Live,

The department’s stall at the Kerala pavilion in ITB is focusing on Ayurveda.

“Ayurveda is the backbone of tourism in Kerala, and hence we are promoting the ancient stream of medicine to the people across the globe,” said the minister.

He also opines that the people in Germany are very much aware of the benefits of Ayurveda. “Germans know the wellness and beauty benefits of Ayurvedic treatments and medicines. It has almost become the responsibility of the department to promote Ayurveda looking at the acceptance it is getting worldwide,” added the minister.

Kadakampally has also urged the people of Kerala to choose Ayurveda over conventional medicines.
