Travel and Tourism professionals move Berlin

It’s that time of the year for the travel and tourism industry players and professionals from every nook and corner of the world to hurry to the German capital of Berlin to participate in their dream get-together organised by Messe Berlin GmbH. The platform for this meeting is none other than the much talked about Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin (ITB Berlin), world’s largest tourism trade fair.

As usual, this year too the event is attracting hundreds of thousands of exhibitors and participants. Around 10,000 tourism companies from 186 countries and regions are represented on an area covering 160,000-sq-m at the Messe Berlin fairgrounds from 7-11 of March. Over 80 per cent of the exhibitors are from abroad.

Widely considered as a meeting place of travel and tourism professionals, ITB Berlin acts as a platform for discussing issues and information, apart from creating new business opportunities. The main attraction of ITB Berlin would be its conference programme titled as ITB Berlin Convention, the largest event of its kind, held from Wednesday, 7 to Saturday, 10 March 2018, wherein the attendees could derive more insight into different aspects of the travel and tourism sector by rendering their ears to the scholarly experts in the filed.

One of the leading issues of the event is the strive for ‘Global Peace and prosperity’. Incredible India is also participating in the event with the Minister for Tourism K J Alphons leading a team of 45 Indian Tourism stakeholders comprising tour operators, hoteliers, State Govt’s, UT administration, NETDC, Air India and IRCTC officials.
