‘The Shape of Water’ wins big at Oscar 2018

“The Shape of Water” was the big winner at the 90th Annual Academy Awards picking up four Oscars. The feature won best picture award and best director for Guillermo del Toro.

Frances McDormand won best actress for “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and Gary Oldman won best actor for “Darkest Hour.” Allison Janney and Sam Rockwell won best supporting actress and best-supporting actor respectively.

Jordan Peele, who wrote and directed “Get Out,” a film centered on racism, was honoured for his original screenplay whereas the four-time nominee James Ivory, 89, won his first Oscar, for his adapted screenplay for the gay romance “Call Me by Your Name.”
