Southwest Airlines raises prices on alcohol
Your drink on the Sounthwest Airline would cost more from March 2018 onwards. The price of alcoholic beverages on Southwest Airlines flights increased $1 and $2, depending on the drink.
It’s the first time the carrier has changed alcohol prices since 2009. Beer will now be charged $6 to $7, wine $6 and liquor $7.
The good thing is that passengers with drink coupons won’t have to pay extra money. Travellers who fly business select or purchase higher-priced tickets will get a free drink coupon on the day of their flight.
Complimentary drink days on Southwest are Valentine’s Day (Feb 14), St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), Southwest Airlines’ birthday (June 18) and Halloween (October 31).
