Cox and kings celebrates 260 years of service


One of the longest well-established travel companies, Cox and Kings have been a part of travellers across the world for 260 long years. And, today she turned 260, the company celebrated her birthday with much pomp and glory at a special event in New Delhi.

The event was attended by Peter Kerkar, CEO Cox & Kings, followed by other dignitaries from the tourism industry. “Tourism sector had a positive aspect this year, Crossing 10 million tourist arrivals gave 27 billion dollar revenue to the country,” said Alphons Kannanthanam, Union Minister for Tourism, who was the chief guest of the evening.

He also appreciated Cox and Kings, besides other Travel Companies for putting their effort to uplift tourism in the country, by standing along with the government.

“The government has a strong intention to double the tourist arrival for the upcoming years in association with travel agencies across India,” he added.
