Travel Alert in London

A travel alert has been issued in London, on behalf of the heavy snowfall that occurred overnight. The current weather change has led to suspending thousands of transportation schedules, that includes flights and train service, affecting millions of travellers.

According to media reports, the affected operator schedules includes, Greater Anglia Stansted Express, ScotRail, Southeastern, Southern, Thameslink, Gatwick Express, South Western Railway, TfL Rail and London Overground. Temperature dropped to over -4, -7 and 10 in certain places that further affected visibility on roads.

Meanwhile, storm Emma is about to approach the south of the country leaving a red warning to the citizens and travellers. About 2,624 schools were closed in England due to the extreme weather condition.
