IndiGo also uses low traffic airports for cheap airport charge rather than landing on a busily scheduled runway. For example, Indigo may prefer to fly to Gatwick Airport in lieu of Heathrow and to Orly Airport in Paris instead of Charles de Gaulle Airport to reduce airport charges.
