Protected monuments will be reopened from tomorrow

Monuments under the Archaeological Survey, which were closed for two months following the spread of covid second wave, are being reopened. The Archaeological Survey of India has announced that protected monuments across the country will be re-opened from June 16.

The Archaeological Survey of India said there would be no direct booking to visit the monuments and that admission tickets could be purchased online.

Last year, 3,691 protected areas under the Archaeological Survey of India were closed due to the covid.
