UAE air ticket fares increased to Rs 1.5 lakhs- Travel ban from midnight today

Some airlines have increased fares to Rs 1.5 lakh in the wake of the UAE’s ban on flights from India to UAE taking effect at midnight today. The situation was aggravated when Air India and Air India Express booking sites went down for three days.

Today, Air Arabia operates additional services from Kochi. Tickets for three of the six services to Sharjah soldout on yesterday afternoon. Some companies have tried to introduce chartered flights but have not received permission from the Department of Civil Aviation.

You can reach the Gulf countries via Nepal but you have to stay in Quarantine for 14 days. Those who have gone home for necessities are surrounded by travel bans.
