Air India to launch direct flights from Kolkata and Indore to Dubai

Air India has announced that the first flight from Indore to Dubai will take off on July 15. Air India has already started taking bookings and over a dozen people have already booked the tickets for the inaugural flight within the first six hours.

The new flight will take off from Indore on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flight will depart from Indore at 4.40 pm and reach Dubai at 7.05 pm on Mondays. On Saturdays, the flight will take off at 3.35 pm and reach Dubai at 6.45 pm. On all three days, the flight will take off from Dubai at 4.40 pm and reach Indore at 9.20 pm.

On its website, Air India is already offering ‘attractive deals’ on the non-stop flights to Kolkata and Indore. The introductory fares, it says, are on offer till July 31, for travel between July 15 and July 31.

The Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport of Indore has recently received immigration clearance from the home ministry.
