BRDC, KIAL to hold Tourism Fraternity Meet in Kannur on Feb 7

The Kannur International Airport Authority (KIAL) and Bekal Resorts Development Corporation (BRDC), in association with North Malabar Chamber of Commerce is organising Tourism Fraternity Meet on February 7, 2019 at the Chamber Hall in Kannur.

KIAL Managing Director, V Thulasidas; Rani George IAS, Secretary, Tourism and Bala Kiran IAS, Director, Tourism will be present at the inaugural function. The event will have five sessions like Branding & Marketing Tourism; Entrepreneurship Development in Tourism and SMILE project; North Malabar Tourism Specialties, New Products and Cultural Tourism; New Packages and Circuits connecting Kannur, Kasaragod, Wayanad, Coorg, Mysore, Ootty etc and Infrastructure in Tourism.

Baby Mathew Somatheeram, Kerala Travel Mart President; Gul Muhammad of North Malabar Tourism Industry and Mahesh Baliga of NMCC will be panelists for the first session on Branding and Marketing Tourism. The panelists for the session Entrepreneurship Development in Tourism and SMILE project are Moosa C P; Vinod CS, president of ATTOI; Deepak C V of NMCC and T K Manzoor, Managing Director of BRDC.

Manu P V, Secretary of ATTOI; E P Rajagopal of Kerala Sahitya Academy and Raveendran M V of Lalitha Kala Academy will be the panelists for the third session on North Malabar Tourism Specialities, New Products and Cultural Tourism whereas the fourth session on New Packages and Circuits connecting Kannur, Kasaragod, Wayanad, Coorg, Mysore, Ootty etc, will have K V Ravisankar, Roy Chacko and Sumesh Mangalassery as the panelists. The last session on Infrastructure in Tourism will be chaired by Sajeev Kurup, Sreekumara Menon and Vinod Narayan of NMCC.
