GoAir, in partnership with Thailand Yacht Show & RendezVous 2019, is offering 50 per cent discount on flights to Phuket from India for yachting enthusiasts registering to visit the Thailand Yacht Show (TYS) 2019.

Thailand Yacht Show, which is scheduled to take place from 10-13th January 2019, will be held at the award-winning Royal Phuket Marina. GoAir’s 50 per cent discount offer is especially for the Indian yachting enthusiasts and everyone who register from India at the Thailand Yacht Show’s website to visit TYS 2019.

GoAir will start direct daily flights to Phuket from Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. By the end of 2019 the airline will further expand its network by connecting 7 more Indian cities to Phuket.

“The level of interest from Indian travellers after we started direct flights from India to Phuket has been excellent. Phuket is an integral part of GoAir’s route network and this is in sync with the response of growing demand from leisure travellers to this destination. Our strategic collaboration with TYS 2019 will enable Indian travellers to witness a world class pleasure and luxury yachting experience. Thailand is an integral part of our international expansion plans and is a most popular destination popular with Indian travellers. Our plans for Phuket and the region are big,” Cornelis Vrieswijk, CEO, GoAir.

“My team and I will be showcasing Thailand’s marine industry to the world. We look forward to working together with GoAir towards our goal of establishing Phuket as a world-class yacht tourism destination and Phuket International Airport as the Gateway to Thailand. The upside for Phuket is clear and the potential is limitless. Key cities in India are connected by a four-hour flight and being the first mover in the market, I expect this route to be a huge success for GoAir. The start of GoAir’s direct flights to Phuket could not have come at a better time as I firmly believe that the GoAir’s special offer for TYS 2019 visitors from India will greatly increase the number of Indian visitors to attend TYS 2019 and contribute to the growth of Yachting tourism in Phuket,” said Gulu Lalvani, Chairman, Royal Phuket Marina, the owner of the host venue for TYS 2019.
