Rajasekharan Nair of UDS conferred with Doctorate and Star of Asia Award

Medicina Alternativa International Open University, Sri Lanka  honored Rajasekharan Nair, Chairman and Managing Director of Uday Samudra Group of Hotels with ‘Star of Asia Award’ and conferred him PhD in ‘Tourism and Hospitality Management’ for his contribution to Tourism  and Hospitality Sector in the convocation held at Bantaranayake Memorial International Convention Centre, Colombo on 25th November 2018.

Large number of delegates and Scholars from various universities of the world participated in the Convocation function.

Rajasekahran Nair is a man with a clear vision and over 4 decades of experience in hospitality sector and several accomplished projects to his credit. His determination has made RR Holidays a major group of Hotels & Resorts in Kerala.

He also runs several business enterprises in Mumbai, including 4 major restaurant bars. His hall mark is his dynamic personality who always wants to do things differently and loves nature with the dedication to preserve the greenery as much. He has won several accolades includes the UGMA & IFA Inspire Award for the business excellence in Tourism & Hospitality.

Medicina Alternativa International Open University was formed in 1962 congruent to the policy objectives of the World Health Organization (WHO). In 1962 The WHO and UNICEF sponsored an International Conference in USSR at Alma Ata, at the University of Kazakhstan. The Alma Atta Declaration defined a global strategy for public health and preventive medicine which epitomized as ‘Health for All by 2000 A.D.’
