Goa Tourism Information Centre opens in Delhi

Goa Tourism has a new information and facilitation counter at Goa Niwas in New Delhi. Power Minister Nilesh Cabral, who is also the chairman of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), has inaugurated the facility.

“GTDC receives a lot of enquiries from people in Delhi. The counter will provide information regarding Goa Tourism services and facilities available for visitors from Delhi and nearby areas,” said the minister after inaugurating the facility.

“With the opening of this counter, guests will be facilitated and Goa tourism brochures ,CDs and other publicity material will be displayed at the counter for the information of the public. Besides this, information on various festivals will also be available at the counter,” said Cabral.

Goa Tourism receives a large number of tourist to Goa from Delhi and neighbouring states especially during the festival season which is already underway in Goa.

“Good rail, road and air connectivity from Delhi to Goa has made it easier for tourists to travel distances in the shortest time span and enjoy maximum even if it is a short halt holiday,” Cabral said.

He emphasized on festival tourism in Goa which showcases Goa’s rich heritage, culture, cuisine and a lot more. The minister has also expressed confidence that tourists in the national capital would take advantage of the information counter set up by GTDC and would be enthused to visit Goa which is now a 365 day holiday destination focused on safety and security of tourists, new activities, cleanliness and more.
