Meet Daphne Clara Richards, who visit Kerala for 27th time

CGH Marari Beach Resort at Mararikulam in Kerala has a special guest today. 89 year old Daphne Clara Richards, a British single lady traveller and a hardcore lover of Kerala. This is her 30th visit to India and 27th visit to Kerala.  In all her visits she has been staying at CGH Marari Beach Resort, except for three times.

When she comes to CGH Marari Beach Resort, she chooses cottage No. 8 and says it is her second home.

Every year she visits Kerala twice for leisure; usually the first visit would prolong for 14 nights and second visit for 21 nights.

“I am also lucky to be the part of her records and privileged to meet and assist her, on all her arrivals without fail. Perhaps, it may be a record for me too,” said Juby Mathew Kattampally, Manager of Cox and Kings, while talking about his special guest.

During the recent floods in Kerala, most of the foreign travelers either cancelled or postponed their travel. However, Daphne did not cancel her booking and arrived as previously scheduled. She was very confident with the health and safety benchmark of Cox & Kings Ltd and the healthcare services of Kerala. She believed that nothing would  go wrong in Kerala especially when she is staying  along with the most literate and advanced society.
