Six new Passport Seva Kendras to come up in Gujarat

The government of India has decided to start six new Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) in Gujarat. With the new PSKs, Gujarat will have a total of 25 PSKs.

The new PSKs will be coming up in Amreli, Gandinagar, Surendranagar, Patan, Bardoli and Sabarkantha.

MoS external affairs M J Akbar said, “For 70 years there were only five PSKs in Gujarat. In the last four years this number has gone upto 19. And, with the opening of the 6 new centres, the number will be 25 soon.”

“These new PSKs will help citizens greatly. This will definitely help the citizens going abroad,” said Pradipsinh Jadeja, Minister of state for Home and NRI Division.

The new PSKs will be operating at the existing head post offices.
