Kerala floods: Tourism fraternity come forward to collect relief materials

In order to provide relief aids to the flood ridden areas of the state, tourism fraternity of Kerala in association with Kerala Tourism Department & Kerala Travel Mart Society has setup a centralized relief collection centre at University Women’s Association Hall, Jawahar Nagar, Trivandrum, near the Lions Club building.

Those who wish to participate in this noble cause can send their contributions in the form of food and other daily need items. The goods  can be delivered at the collection center in University Womens Association Hall  between 7am and 10pm.  Those who cannot reach the collection point can contact the following volunteers for door to door collection: Vinod – 9447161619, Gafoor – 9605040033, Nahas Shams – 9567635661, Janeesh – 9995037470.

Drinking Water, Blankets, Bedsheet, Medicines, Sanitary napkins, Inner wear (both men and women), Kids wear, Baby diapers, Puffed Rice, Flattened Rice, Jaggery, Rusk, Sugar, Plastic mats, Nighties & Under skirts, Candles & Lighter etc., are the required items.
