Madhya Pradesh’s tin-toys to promote tourism abroad

Madhya Pradesh’s tin-toy advertisement with the tag line ‘MP me Dil Hua Bachhe Sa’ is getting more recognition in foreign countries. The advertisement was bagged the best advertisement award in 2016.  It also received the Graphite Pencil Award from the famous D & AD of England for the innovative concept in advertisement. The commercial was  made by Hungry Films, directed by Vijay Sawant and produced by Dharam Valia.

In this ad, children’s toys were linked with the heritage of different areas of Madhya Pradesh. A Delhi based agency, Welby Impex was the designers of the tin-toys. Most of the toys are made of complex machinery of gears and pinions.

“These toys which have become an identification of tourism in Madhya Pradesh will campaign for the state abroad also. The tin-toys company will market these toys in European countries through which the department will receive a royalty of 5 per cent through the agency,” said Surendra Patwa, Minister of State for Tourism.

MP Tourism branding will be put on tin-toys packages for destination pamphlet balls.
