Tourist Reception Center in Srinagar to be a WiFi zone

The Tourist Reception Center in Srinagar would be made a WiFi zone to provide free and easy internet access to the employees and the visitors. It was announced by Tasaduq Jeelani, Tourism Director of  Kashmir during his maiden meeting with the employees in his department on Thursday, 2nd August 2018

During the meeting, the director urged the employees to maintain the highest standards of professionalism while performing their works. While accentuating on the significance of tourism in the state, he told the employees to set a high benchmark and facilitate tourists, in order to provide the tourists with the best experiences during their stay in the state and become the ambassadors for the state.

He gave strict instructions to the employees especially tourist police for ensuring proper enforcement of the laws and implementing them practically.

He also mentioned that the employees at Tourism Reception Center and airport would be provided special uniforms to help tourists identify them and get the necessary assistance.

On answering the queries and concerns raised by the employees, Jeelani told all the things will be addressed in a time bound manner.
