Tourism Conclave in Hyderabad from June 28th

In a move to encourage collaboration between the tourism industry and stakeholders, a 3-day Telangana Tourism Conclave will be held from June 28th in Hyderabad. The conclave will be conducted jointly by the Ftapcci (Federation of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and Global Panorama Showcase Ltd (GPS), Nagpur.

As per reports, the first day of conclave will witness a knowledge seminar and the next two days will be for B2B interactions through a trade show. “Time has come to showcase the meeting point of India and Telangana. There is immense scope for job creation in the tourism industry, which is currently untapped. Moreover, the rich history of our State remains unparalleled and offers one of the best climates in India. We should be having much more visitors,” said Venkatesham, Telangana Tourism Secretary.

“The tourism conclave is going to be a totally green event. We expect a savings of $100,000 by cutting down on the use of paper,” said Harmandeep Singh, Managing Director, GPS. Reports also suggest that the Ftapcci is also planning an exclusive medical tourism conclave as the there is no foothold on medical tourism.
