Japan’s tourism exhibition in Gujarat

With an aim to bring more tourists from India,  Japan  is planning to conduct an exhibition, ‘Japan Calling’ in Gujarat. The event is organised by Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) in association with Indo Japan Friendship Association (IJFA) and Japan Innovation and Study Centre (JISC).

“Bilateral ties between India-Japan and Gujarat-Japan have grown over the years on the business and cultural front. This is for the first time that a full-fledged exhibition focused on Japan tourism is being organized in Ahmedabad,” said Mukesh Patel, president, IJFA.

The main objective of the exhibition is to promote the culture and heritage of Japan, along with the serene scenic beauty of the country. The exhibition is said to be inaugurated by the consul general of Japan at Mumbai, along with Kenichi Takano, executive director of Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO). The event also hosts educational seminars on tour operation, with international delegates from India and Japan.
