New visa rule issued in US

On a vision to ensure maximum safety in the country the Trump administration has strengthened the US visa application filing norms. The new visa rule states that an applicant should enter all the details such as previous phone numbers, email address, and social media history in order to qualify for visa processing.

As per media reports, the reversed rule is published in the Federal Register. According to it, any individual who wish to visit US on a non-immigrant visa must enter all the valid data.

Meanwhile, without any doubt, the strict security questionnaire would be a headache for international travellers. However, the rule won’t affect diplomatic as well as official visa applicants. Additionally, the new rule has the possibility to affect over 710,000 immigrants and 14 million non-immigrant visa applicants.
