Women’s Bike trip entered world record

Amrutha Kashinath and Shubra Acharya have entered their name in the ‘Limca Book of Records’ by covering 3,825 km in just 5 days. Starting their journey from ‘Kanyakumari’ to ‘Leh in Jammu Kashmir’, the duo maintained consistency to reach within the shortest time period of 129 hours with their motorcycles.

Before starting their trip, both Amrutha and Shubra took extreme conditioning for enduring the most challenging ride of their lifetime. The ride was fully sponsored with the pair being frequent travellers.

According to Amrutha, the toughest part of their journey was compromising on sleep, as they took just 5 hours of sleep to adjust timing. Amrutha and Shubra are friends for the past 13 years, and hence having same wavelength and understanding among them helped a lot, in these motorcycle expeditions.
