KTM Society urges members to contribute to CM’s Relief Fund

The Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) Society has urged its members to contribute to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, to support the government in fighting the pandemic.

“It is our responsibility to extend support to the government by contributing our humble share towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, even though we are in deep trouble,” said KTM President Baby Mathew, in a letter addressed to the members.

“Every small amount of help from us is valuable and we can collectively extend our financial support to the government. Requesting all the members to make this effort successful by contributing financial assistance as much as you can afford, to KTM Society and let us all join in this novel cause to support the government,” he stated in a letter.

The whole world is badly hit by the pandemic and the world economy is sinking. Though most of the countries are failing to control the spread of the pandemic, Kerala is courageously moving ahead to control the spread of the corona by taking effective steps, applauded by the whole world. “Our health care system, community empowerment and steps taken to safeguard our people and tourists are exemplary,” Baby Mathew said.

He said the state government has to be shown appreciation for the protective care shown towards the citizens as well as foreign tourists. “This gesture shown by our state will surely bring benefit to the growth of our Brand Kerala Tourism,” he stated in the note.
