Salaman Khan to promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh

Bollywood super star Salman Khan will associate with Madhya Pradesh in the field of tourism and heritage.  It was announced chief minister Kamal Nath while interacting with the media at Vallabh Bhavan on Thursday.

Salman Khan was born in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore and spent his childhood in the city before his scriptwriter father Salim Khan shifted base to Mumbai.

Speaking to the media while presenting a 70-day report card of his government, Nath informed that he had urged Khan to contribute in the state’s tourism promotion and he agreed.

“I talked to Salman Khan recently and I asked him to contribute something for the state as he belongs to Indore, and he readily agreed,” said Kamal Nath

“Details would be chalked out as Salman Khan is expected to be in Madhya Pradesh between April 1 and 18,” he added

Sources in the ruling Congress party of Madhya Pradesh said Salman Khan might be made brand ambassador for tourism and heritage in Madhya Pradesh, though there was no official confirmation about it. Recently, there have also been demands from some areas that Salman Khan be made a Lok Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh, though there is no confirmation from the party about it too.

Some five years back, Salman Khan was known to be a huge fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had done some kite-flying in 2014 along with the then BJP’s prime ministerial candidate in Ahmedebad during a festival.
