Efforts will kick off with a WangoWango road trip, an experiential tour of the country including local chefs preparing dishes along the way. The trips will be shot and aired as a reality TV show.

Residents, who participate with the campaign on social media using the hash tag #YouShouldBeHere, will get the opportunity to participate in the trips which begin in February.

The ministry is trying a destination management approach to marketing tourism in a sustainable way. The tourism department will work with other strategic tourism organizations like the Tourism Research and Advocacy Center (TRAC) and to achieve the objective.
