A R Rahman releases teaser of Hockey World Cup 2018 anthem

The 2018 Men’s Hockey World Cup will be held in Bhubaneswar, India, starting from November 28. In the run-up to the much-awaited hockey event, AR Rahman, renowned Indian musician, took to Twitter on Sunday and uploaded a teaser video of the official song of the Men’s Hockey World Cup.

“Presenting the promo for ‘Jai Hind India’ the song for Hockey World Cup 2018 with Shahrukh Khan and wonderful musicians who have collaborated for this track” tweeted the music maestro.

The song is composed and produced by A R Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar.  Shahrukh Khan, Nayanthara, Sivamani, Neeti Mohan, Shweta Mohan, Sasha Tirupathi, Shweta Pandit, Harshdeep and the National Hockey World Cup Players are also present the video shot by Ravi Varman. The video is directed, edited and executed by BToS Productions.

Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha has shared the teaser of the Odisha World Cup anthem composed by A R Rahman. The anthem named as Jai Hind India, has already become viral in social media and widely accepted by people from all walks of life.

In his tweet, Patnaik thanked A R Rahman for the catchy teaser and said he is looking forward for the full version.

Earlier this month, AR Rahman had announced that he will be performing live at the opening ceremony of the Hockey World Cup at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
