Odisha Tourism arranges special tour packages during Men’s Hockey World Cup

Odisha Tourism launches special tour packages for the visitors to the state on the occasion of the Men’s Hokey World cup, which is scheduled on Wednesday, 28th November 2018 in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha.

The packages are titled ‘Odisha by Day Hockey by Night’. Visitors to the city will have the opportunity to roam around the capital city under these packages.

By this offer, the tourism department aims at promoting sports tourism in the state, which includes enjoying the World Cup matches and also visiting the tourism hotspots in the state.

The tour packages are designed as to enable the tourists to visit the nearby tourism spots during the day time and come back to the city to witness the hockey matches at night.

For a trip that starts from Kalinga stadium, a domestic tourist to pay Rs 1245 and a foreign visitor to pay Rs 1880

 

Konark Temple

Tourists can also opt for other packages like trip to Raghurajpur – Puri – Konark – Pipili and back to Bhubaneswar; Trip to Chilika Lake and trip to Buddhist heritage places like Laligiri, Udaygiri and Ratnagiri. These packages are ranging from Rs 1335 to 1720 for domestic visitors and Rs 1980 to Rs 2355 for foreign tourists

These packages include AC transport, lunch, drinking water, entry fee at destinations and guide service.

Recently Odisha tourism has conducted publicity campaigns in London to attract more visitors from London to attend the World Cup Hockey match, where 16 countries will be participating.
