Nepal Tourism Board conducts seed camp for budding entrepreneurs

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) plans to host an event to give budding tourism entrepreneurs an opportunity to strengthen their business idea and gather investment support.

‘The Tourism Udhyami Seed Camp’ will be held in Nepal’s tourism capital, Pokhara, from 30th October to 4th November 2018. Interested people can submit their applications until October 15.

20 finalists will be selected from among the applicants, on the basis of the criteria prescribed along with the distinctiveness and feasibility of the proposed idea.

From Udhyami Seed Camp – 2017

The participating teams of two to four members in each team will be provided with conclusive mentorship and guidance from the entrepreneurs and experts. They will also have access to entrepreneurial communities to help them in developing the business model, refine and validate their business ideas with the objective of transforming their idea into business.

Following the incubation, the selected 20 teams shall make an intense research, work on their business model for a month and again shall make an investment pitch for the Demo Day to be hosted in Kathmandu at larger scale in the presence of public and private sector leaders as well as investors.

Udhyami Innovations Pvt Ltd is partnering with the NTB to host the event.
