Manuj Ralhan joins JW Marriott Pune as Director of Operations

The JW Marriott Hotel in Pune has announced the appointment of Manuj Ralhan as Director of Operations. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Manuj in his new role will be leading business and strategic operations of the property.

Primarily responsible for overseeing smooth functioning of the hotel, Manuj comes with experience that will help to implement the brand service strategy and initiatives. He has always been looked up to as a highly encouraging mentor and thrives on guiding teams to ensure that the services of the hotel are known for being the best in the city.

During his 16 years in the hospitality industry, he has been responsible for Food & Beverage assets of a number of leading luxury hotels in India. He began his journey with The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra; Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, and was also a part of the pre-opening team of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and Shangri-la’s Villingili Resort & Spa, Maldives. In his previous role, he was the Director of Food & Beverage at the JW Marriott Bangalore.

After having successfully launched The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra, Manuj was instrumental in repositioning Dome, the rooftop sky bar at Intercontinental, Mumbai as one of the ten best rooftop bars in the world. During his tenure, he has conceptualised, spearheaded and turned around numerous F&B outlets in various luxury hotels. As the Officiating Director Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Hotel Mumbai, Manuj played an instrumental role in orchestrating successful opening and management for all its nine outlets
