Ford Freestyle launched in India

If you are looking for a hatchback that offers the same feel and comfort as that of an SUV, the new Ford Freestyle is the answer. The new model has resemblance with its ancestor Figo, but made completely different out of the box in terms of designing and performance.

The new model has a decent ground clearance with over 190mm, more than that of Figo. The interior is also refined with new dashboard much similar from a mid-variant Eco spot. A 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, that offers seamless connectivity is the main attraction of the segment.

Ford also has introduced two engine option for the model, a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Petrol engine provides 96 bhp, whereas the diesel variant with 100 bhp.

The car is equipped with new independent McPherson suspension, which absorbs anything the road throws at you. Freestyle is available in four models – Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+.

Top end variant of the model comes with a bunch of safety features like ABS, EBD, parking sensors, collision alert through GPS, Emergency Assistance and side and curtain airbags. Available in 6 colours Canyon Ridge, Smoke Grey, Moondust Silver, White Gold, Oxford White, and Absolute Black. Coming to the pricing the models are priced at Rs 5.09 lakh to Rs 6.94 lakh for petrol option and 6.09 lakh to Rs 7.89 lakh for the diesel variant.
