IATA join hands with Civil Aviation ministry

World airline trade association IATA (International Air Transport Association) joins hands with Ministry of Civil Aviation and Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University(RGNAU), to strengthen human resource possibility over India’s aviation industry.

On Tuesday, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between IATA, Civil Aviation Ministry and RGNAU. “Formalised this partnership in the presence of Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha on the sidelines of Wings India 2018 in Hyderabad”, said IATA in a statement.

“India is expected to be the third largest aviation market in the world behind China and the US by 2024, and is forecast to grow to a market size of 480 million passengers in 2036. Our partnership with Ministry of Civil Aviation and RGNAU (National Aviation University) will help contribute the human resource capacity building for India,” said Conrad Clifford, IATA’s Regional Vice-President, Asia-Pacific.
