Let’s Stargaze in Thiruvananthapuram

Amateur Astronomer’s Organization Kerala, in association with State Science and Technology museum, is about to conduct ‘Tharapadam’ 2018, a unique opportunity that let people explore the mysterious skies.

The programme includes learning more about lunar astronomical objects, with regards to Malayalam months followed by viewing planets such as  Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter closely through telescopes.

The best time to star gaze is early in the morning where dust particles are settled down, leading to a more clearer vision. Various stars scattered in the skies could be learned more clearly during this time.

The observational class will be held on 13th  February from 3.30 am at the Priyadarshini Observatory, Thiruvananthapuram.
