Ride for a cause this Republic Day

The Cochin Bikers Club (CBC), in association with CGH Earth is also all set to celebrate the 69th Indian Republic Day, with a great ride to remember. The ride will be flagged off from Casino Hotel, Willingdon Island, and the destination would be about 50 km down south the coast, at the Marari Beach Resort-CGH Earth, which would be the turn-around point as well.

The ride, dedicated to CBC’s supporter, Michael Dominic and Casino Group of Hotels for their invaluable support rendered since the inception of CBC, would be a funding rising charity ride. The amount generated through the registration process would be given away to Deepthy Special School, at Muhamma in Alappuzha, where 75 differently-abled children study. The endowment will be awarded by Michael Dominic to Sister Jyotsna, who is in charge of the school and the school band. The school band, which had won several prizes for the best performance, will be in attendance during the riders’ brief stopover at the Marari Beach Resort.

The minimum registration free to be paid is Rs 300 whereas there is no upper limit as the ride is a charity oriented one. Followed by a ride brief by the Race Director Shagzil Khan, the event will be flagged off by Michael Dominic at 6 am.
